Okay, not really. It IS still the year 220X, and the entire world is united and connected by the advent of wireless technology. EM Wave communication has become the basis of all civilization and technology on Earth, and society has thrived in its presence.
As people perform their daily commune, EM Communications are busy at work keeping the world stable. High above the heads of the human populace, Wave signals connect to form an invisible network of EM pathways known as the Wave Road, which guides programs and signals from origin to destination. The Wave Road sprawls across the entire world, connecting to every appliance and device that contributes to it.
Unfortunately, this makes such communication very susceptible to EM Viruses and the occasional malfunction of connected devices. In addition, huge amounts of EM pollution known as Noise are produced each day from the sheer grand scale of this communication. These are seen as minor setbacks, however, and new ways to deal with such things are devised immediately after such problems surface.
Recent developments have even produced the ability to solidify EM Waves and produce solid matter using nothing but energy and programmed data. Known as Matter Waves, this technology has revolutionized the way people live. Devices, structures, and even entire landscapes have been produced using Matter Waves, allowing mankind to shape the world around them as they please.::Summary::
Welcome to the world of Shooting Star Chronicles! This is where stories of camaraderie and animosity finds connections! Create characters with origins stretch as far as the stars that hover with the heavens or as down to Earth as the aforementioned land itself. An original semi-literate Ryuusei Rockman Roleplay, enjoy interacting with original characters as well as the canon-themed Electromagnetic Beings.- The Wave World is as vast as the world we live in, and even stretches amongst the stars! Experience the thrill of exploring both worlds on the Electromagnetic Wave Road as you turn into an Electromagnetic Human able to fly around the world in mere seconds in the year 22XX!

- You and your partner can power themselves up with Battle Cards! Use the unique features of Battle Cards in order to win the advantage against evil or to cause havoc. You can even summon Canon EM Humans from the series past in order to fight at your side for a brief moment. Intense battles against allies or against your biggest foe.
